Sharing a Shell, 2005-10-18A wonderful book about friendship, sharing and the need of each other; about silly quarrel due to offence and reconciliation, and that it sometimes needs an outside person to overcome pride and to approach each other again. It's also about not taking s.o.'s part in the quarrels, but rather try to mediate.
The rhymes are as sparkling as the whole book itself with glitter spread all over each page: "Crab in the cup, Blob on the tub, Each one pretends to be glad. Brush, doing both lots of housework, Knows they are lonely and sad.". My children, aged 3 and 4, love that book and ask me to read it to them again and again. They like the friendly look of the characters, the glitter and the full page pictures that always offer a funny sight (they are delighted e.g. with the sea gull in the storm flying with an umbrella or rain cap). We recommend this fanciful book.
