Best thing I ever bought, 2010-08-30I'm writing this review because unlike most of the reviewers I've had this thing nearly two years now. If you're are looking at the DV11 it's because you want a good quality portable projector. If you can find it buy this thing. Nothing beats just been able to get this thing out of its handy case, power it up, pop in a dvd and sit back. The default settings are very good, the sound is great from the speakers and much better than expected and the picture quality is fantastic. It exceeded all my expectations and I stick by the reason I bought it: OPTOMA don't make anything else but projectors!
Anyhow, because this review is from someone who's had this thing a long time I just want to say that this machine functions exactly the same as the first day I bought it. I've plugged it into the tv, the computer and the Wii, used it in the bedroom, the kids room and even taken it to parties. My only regret is that there doesn't seem to be a new version as I want to replace it with a 3d projector in the future. The all in one feature of this thing is what sold it to me. I don't want a permanent projector setup and a maze of wires. This thing doesn't even need a screen, I've tried it with both a wall and a screen and a shiny white wall works just as well much to the disbelief of diehard home theatre friends of mine. Find it and buy it.
