Wow!, 2005-08-01I have been a fan of SOAD since Toxicity came out 4 years ago. I then aquired their other albums ever since. They are hard to categorize...metal, thrash, progressive..whatever. In my opinion this is they're best effort to date. I've been eagerly awaiting this for along time and I'm not disappointed. I was pleasantly suprised how melodic and alternatively hard this album is. It just shows they're amazing range and depth. The lyrics are political, and sometimes weird as previously mentioned by another reviewer, but never boring. I'm looking forward to the second half, "Hypnotize", coming out this fall.
