I was disappointed that the series skipped from early 90's to current times with no explaination. It would have been better off picking up in the early 90's rather than adding bits about having computers in their rooms and palm size video cameras... The story was odd, the characters odd, it is lacking the chemistry the other 4 books had. I heard L.J. Smith is planning to continue on with 2 more after this one. I will not be purchasing them.
