Mark Bedwell clearly hasn't played this game. I have, and it's fantastic...while it lasts. As the title says, it does exactly what it says on the tin, nothing more. The game is fast paced and immense fun. There aren't many play modes, but multiplayer with mates is what this is all about! OK, you can go and play it for real like Mark says, but the same can be said about all sports games, such as snooker, golf, tennis, football...so quite why he made that statement is beyond me. It's a game Mark, nothing more.

The graphics are quite stunning for the most part, with detailed characters and animation. Still, with not much else going on, I'd expect nothing less.

£25 doesn't buy you much these days. Even a night out at the cinema with your better half can cost more when you consider the travel and obligator hotdogs and popcorn!! So, for me the game is a bargain. Easy to pick up, hard to master. Simple, yes, shallow, yes, but it does what it does very well, and for the price, you can't go wrong if you like this kind of game.

Overall it gets 4 stars because while it is a bit short and shallow, it is probably the best example of a sports conversion in a long time.
