Best Warhammer 40,000 book so far!, 2003-01-14This book is set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, where war is constant and mankind fights for survival as its Empire slow crumbles.
The story is set around a siege against a mighty fortress. Evil chaos space marines the Iron Warriors (super humans who once fought for humanity but now are bent on its destruction or enslavement)attack and lay siege against the Imperial guard.
The characters are all very interesting and really grip your imagination. You feel you do care what happens to some of them as they come across from both sides of the siege.
The way how the siege progresis is exciting and not clear who will win, till the final of the book.
This book is one of the best I have read from Games Workshop, I couldent put it down as wondered what would happen next.
The final ending leaves big ramifications for the Warhammer 40,000 universe!
