Hopefully a "Breakthrough" for Colbie in the UK, 2009-08-18Is the UK the only country in the world that has not caught onto the amazing Colbie Caillat ? Hopefully, if this album is as good as "Coco" (her debut) she will soon follow her friend Taylor Swift up the chart.
It is 2 years since I first heard "Bubbly" on her "social networking" page and fell madly in love with the song. I bought her first album on import, weeks before it was released in the UK, and it has still never been filed onto my bulging cd shelves.
I simply cannot put her first album down and play it over and over. I am hoping for more of the same, gentle, pleasant pop on this album.
So far, I have only heard 2 tracks from the album, "Out Of My Mind" (from the bonus disc) had it's first performance late in 2007 when Colbie performed at Bush Hall in Shepherds Bush (London). The other track "Fallin' For You" has already charted Stateside and will be released on single in the UK early September.
2 absolutely gorgeous, well crafted songs. I am sure the rest of the album will match the quality...
