2006 FIFA World Cup (Xbox 360)

I played this game in the shop, and thought it was quite a decent game. Decided to buy it, and i am quite glad I did. In the multiplayer, it is quite a fun game and has similar gameplay elements to pro evo.

At first, it feels very strange as the graphics are very polished, but once you get used to it; it starts to feel ok.

There are many plus points to the game, The player likenesses are good, the gameplay is very good; very fast paced and fun. Also, the multiplayer is a great laugh and the control system is good.

The negatives are that it takes some getting used to, passing is sometimes difficult and the commentry is awful.

The single player as loads of different scenarios, from being 2-0 down in the 80th minute to being 8-0 up in the 60th and having to finish the match with 13, and this is a brilliant idea as it means that there are things to do other than just the world cup. You can also do the scenareos with a friend, or three. On completion of these, you will get points depending on how well you did; there are secondary objectives for bonus points and you can spend these on new balls, Classic kits, classic players or bonus gameplay modes.

I would rate this game as follows:

Graphics-9/10 Very polished and smooth
Sound-5/10 Good crowd effects but commentry is awful
Gameplay-8/10 slick, fast paced and fun
Longivity-8/10 Will take ages do do all scenareos, and you can play it with mates all day long

OVERALL: 8/10 (or 4/5) It's no Pro Evo, but as to date is the best footie game on 360-Leaps and bounds above RTWC.
