I read some books written by Mc Millan years ago and, as far as I remember, enjoyed them. This book, however, was a big delusion. It seems as if Mc Millan wanted to write about something "important" in regard to her age (midlife crisis, years of change), but she didn’t succeed. There wasn't anything worth writing about and the result is rather poor: a lame story with a "happy end". A real waste of time (for me as a reader and for her as a writer). One star because I read it to the end (hoping there still would be something, a hidden message perhaps, in the end).
