Atmospheric, 2002-11-12The music on the CD comes directly from the film, so when you first hear it, you re-live the horror and tension of the film in your mind.
The soundtrack can at parts be breathtaking and haunting. With the odd light hearted moment, one being the song by Grandaddy.
The track by Blue States seems a bit odd to be included, but after a few listens it fits perfect in raising hope, and is by far my favourite track due to its jazzy feel.
Overall the soundtrack works, by reinventing the film and fitting the mood, dont expect many sing along moments though, and don't listen to it before you go to bed!
