Funktastic, 2006-11-30Didn't really know too much about these guys until a roommate introduced them to me. Damn. These guys are a well-oiled funk soul machine.
While the singer obviously has major talent, I found some of his banter a little annoying, a little too self-aware for my liking. On balance, I like the music more than the singing. This album is a treasure trove of great funky bass/guitar licks.
Recommended for anyone who likes tight interesting music (and hordes of screaming girls between every song).
