Received broken. Horrible customer service., 2010-07-18I ordered these jars and received them really quickly. But upon opening them I realized that one was broken. I immediately emailed the company to find out my options for a replacement or refund. I got an email saying they would contact me within 48hrs. I didn't hear from them until a week later! I was told that I would need to return the whole set and they could send another to me or I could be refunded for the one jar that was broke. I thought returning the whole set on my dime was ridiculous. Why couldn't I just return the one jar and have them send me one jar in return? They would have been left with exactly the same thing. A set with one broken jar. But they informed me that they could not do that because they were sold as a set. Whatever! I chose to receive the refund and keep my incomplete set of jars because I refuse to send a very heavy set of glass jars back to them at my expense. They refunded me a dollar. I will not be purchasing from this company again. Especially considering I can get them cheaper at walmart knowing they will arrive at my house unbroken.
