Very good monitor!, 2009-09-04I ordered this monitor a couple days ago to use with my iMac. I needed to double the screens together for my music studio. I searched around for a very long time trying to find a good one and that would fit my iMac perfectly. This was the best monitor on the market and had a cheap price tag. I got it within 2 days of order, with standard delivery! (And NO dead pixels!)
It was very easy to install and all the necessary cables were included (VGA cable came with it). I went about setting it up with my iMac. I had to adjust a couple things on the monitor like the resolution and brightness but after that it was perfect! (theirs no need to adjust resolution if your using the monitor on its own)
It has an automatic button so it configured autimatically to my iMac settings quite well, I just needed it brighter and you can do that through the menu button on the monitor. The controls are very firm and reliable. The stand is very strong and won't fall over at a maximum height.
It is perfect for doubling up your screen or mirroring your screen. Even if you use it on its own, it is perfect! The size of the screen is just brilliant and load up time is very fast. You can't go wrong with a 1650x1050 resolution!
The only con I can think of is that it would have helped if it go higher on the stand a bit more. I am currently having books underneath to keep it up to my iMac screen. That's just me though, it will be perfect for any other screens.
All in all I would recommend this monitor to anyone! It is perfect for any sort of application needed.
